I'm looking for an exhaust tip to keep the soot of the truck and to keep my bumper from turning colors. On my 04 I really didn't care as it was grey but my new one is white and i'm afraid it may show up more. I'm NOT looking for some rice tuner tip just something to push it out further from the truck.

http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....r=MEGS-0069-DG was recommended to me. I bought one with my 6/2/1 kit from Geno's, put it on and no more soot on my bumper.

When I put it on, I didn't think it would keep the soot off as it only sticks out a bit more than the stock pipe, but it does, so I'm .

 

4" in x 6" out Just make sure your tip sticks out about 4" from the bottom of the truck and you should be fine....

 

I thought mine was sticking out enough...about 2 inches...but i was wrong. Somehow i even managed to get soot on my tailgate....i guess smoke blows in the wind going down the highway. You could literally write your name in the soot on my tail gate!
