I ordered mine today. getting the 409 duals. Also ordered the afe intake system with the pro guard 7. For those that have this system would like to hear comments. Is the afe intake system comparible to the scotty intake setup?

I towed a substantial trailer for the first time this weekend - a 25 foot TT, around 6000lbs or so, my atv, and tons of gear. Anyway, I sure LOVED how the DPPI exhaust rumbled when I got on it with the load! Should have taken a sound file. I went thru a few tunnels and gunned it on the way up, and the noise reflecting in there was incredible, diesel sensory overload!

Talk about FAST service... I placed my order on the phone on the 20th (Friday) and the BIG box was on my front porch the 24th (Tuesday).. I am off work this coming Friday so it is going on the truck then.

@ Lightman;

Glad to hear (and can't wait to hear) what the exhust sounds like when running under load... I will be hauling a 31', 8000lb (approx) 5th wheel all over the country this summer...

Bill, wait till you hit that magic 2300-2400 'drone zone' where it just bellows. LOL, its loud but sounds so good. Every head would turn as I took off with my TT, because the thing just roars under load. Not loud in the cab really but outside I think it's pretty loud.

Bill - after watching the whole thing - I can't tell you how happy I was to pay someone $65 to install this exhaust. Prepare for a pain in the butt getting the stock exhaust out! =]

I don't think I am gonna attempt to "do_it_myself" on this one... I am a pretty good wrench, but I can't get under the front of the truck, don't have a lift, etc... will be well spent money to watch someone else do it ...
