Is the muffler the same?

Can I get buy with just getting the drivers side tail and a "Y" ?

Single to duals

Mopar,

hey how you been?

The change to duals is actually pretty involved, everyting south of the last straight piece is different. I have had others ask about this and I reccomend that they sell their single and then get the dual, as by the time I price all the seperate parts to you the cost will be more for the parts than if you sell your single and start over, not to mention the install hassles for you as well.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear, sorry!!!

I didn't think there was anything tricky or confusing about that I am anxious for my new 4" system!

I just bought one too! How hard is it to install the unit yourself? Is it easier to take the kit to a muffler shop and have them install it? Sweet!!!!!

Ton4fun from what I've heard it's pretty simple - just get the stocker off by unbolting or more commonly cutting it, and bolt the new one up. I'm hoping the instructions that denote which piece is which are pretty thorough. I'm excited for it to come, and hope it's not too much louder than stock.

I talked to Padazz and he says it took him about an hour and half to remove the old and hour to install the new. My only downfall is its cold and I don't have a garage yet so I would have to wait till spring to install my unit. If I can get a shop to install it for me for under $100.00 I would be in good shape. I assume since its aluminized clamps would have to be used. If I took it to a shop I wonder if they could weld where the clamps would go.

Mark with DPP is possible to weld where the clamps go?

Beat you to the PUNCH!!

Push Rod,

You sound like the old Hawiian Punch drink commercial, yeah you had mentioned posting about the sale and I hadn't seen anything so I did it just to keep the members aware of the specials etc. Happy ice fishing my friend!!!!

Did anyone install this system by themselves, or does it require 2 ppl?

Edit, and SCOTTY, you don't count! You count for 2.

Padazz has. I'm just going to take mine to a local muffler shop and have them install it. I should be sporting my new exhaust next week some time.

I"m definitely going to do it myself, just wondered if I can literally do it myself or I need a friend to help.
