You guys w/ the Aeroturbines, are they worth the money? I've already got 600.00 into my exhaust and still need a quality muffler, the strait pipe is too loud or I'm too OLD, whichever. I know they're stainless and really pretty, but do they get raspy at WOT, does anyone even have the 5" Aeroturbine?

My cat back MBRP is darn near stock quiet in the cab. Only a slight rumble at idle if you actually go back by the tail pipe.

my mbrp duals are very loud. I have the cat off too though. I am thinking of putting on a different muffler. my truck I think is louder than cowboydaves and his is a straight pipe. I think the mbrp muffler is an amplifier rather than a muffler.

I ran the stock pipe with no muffler and the cat for a while, and it was pretty quiet on the highway but had a nice rumble to it while idleing. The MBRP I have now (thats for sale as well) is quiet on the highway, and I run that with no cat and the muffler.

So does leaving the exhaust stock with a Y pipe and an electric cutout before the muffler. You have loud when you want it and quiet while your talking. But what do I know about things like that

I've had it straight piped, with an aeroturbine, and with an aero and a dynomax muffler (4"). They all were too loud for me... must be getting old. Now I have the Nelson and love it. Btw- I have the aero and the dyno sitting in my garage, however they are welded together with a short piece of tubing...

Thanks everyone for all this good info. So far the Roktech is looking like a possible candidate. Does that timming sensor they sell actually work?

I don't know of anyone who makes a 4 or 5" glasspack. Not much different from a Dynomax Bullet Race muffler, I'm assuming...

Does anyone know if the Rokk tech muffler is a bolt in kit or weld in only?
