Exhaust Question

I was hoping someone could help me out. I want to get a new exhaust, but not sure what to get. I'm thinking 6 inch, I have a stock truck with the exception of an Edge programmer. Would 6 inch even work? I like the single pipe better but are duals the way to go? What brands are good? I appreciate any help.

Just do not pay extra , theres a HP rating for size exhaust , from what I can remember , unless your racing / pulling , over 600 HP ? , the 4" is good for most , I see a lot of 5" , but even then most do not have the HP to need .
Like most mods there are a bunch of brands , if you see the name a lot , you should be OK , I am happy with MBRP .

fill out your sig so we know what you have. I helped a friend install a MBRP kit, very nice.

I updated the sig. just for the record I have a 2006 Ram 3500. I'm really liking the Bully Dog exhaust, its got some pretty good reviews from what I have read.

if the money is burning a hole in your pocket spend it on something useful IMO. the 4" from the factory is fine. loose the muffler and shell sound great.

It just so happens I got some used 6" exhaust for sale off my 03 truck i liked it okay but like brett said its gaudy and drones like a champ im going with some 5" probably cat back with the cat hollowed out just for warranty purposes on my 07 believe me the dealerships around here know me by name due to many many and i mean many warranty issues in the past so i dont give them any help in trying to void my warranty.

I can't help but the question - How are you getting such huge MPG values?! I recently made the mods on my truck and I am seeing 23.5 on the highway with no load. Care to share?
