Exhaust issues on 06

ive got the 4040 aero turbine and im not impressed. Im getting my tip put on in about 2 weeks and was wondering if i should go ahead and get it cut off and go ahead and have the kitty scrapped too. What is yalls take on that? i had straight on my last exhaust w/no problem and really loved the way it sounded

I would leave the kitty in place and scrap the muffler, thats what I did. It sounds very good and doesn't void the emissions warranty.

Leave the cat, delete the muffler all together.

MBRP cool duals suck because I have talked to other people and experienced that the hangers never line up. You will always have a problem with them staying in the hanger. But they look good for the time there in there. So scraped the duals and went to a straight pipe with the left overs. Love it couldnt complain with how it sounds and its not to loud on the freeway in the cab.

I welded the 4040L right to the downpipe and welded the cat on after that (right after I cleaned it out real well )... I love the way it sounds - especially since it has a SS turndown right behind the cab.

I just installed a 5 inch turbo back straight (no kitty)and it is "unbearable" to drive and I probably wake an entire town up in the AM. I am having Spintech custom make me a muffler to fit without cutting.
