i went on ebay and bought my afe stage 2 with the proguard 7 filter and i'm looking now for a dual stainless 4" exhuast turbo back
the afe filter definlitly dropped my EGT's a couple hundred degrees

I purchased an aftermarket air intake from RPM Outlet & had absolutely no issues with them. Some on here will say to stay clear from them but they treated me rite. Plus their prices are pretty good.
I'd say go for it and order from them.
As far as intakes, I really like my AEM Brute Force Dry Flow filter. They of course sell the whole kit but I opted the cheaper route and used my own little custom 4" torque tube along with the AEM Dry Flow filter. Much more turbo noise & increased air flow...
