is it even worth puttin the puck in???
i just put the predator in, on the economy tune, and wonderin if i should install the puck?? someone mentioned that the puck brings the rail pressure up to 27000. others say they cant tell a difference with the puck. it has lots more power now, and wondering if i should just sell the puck...

I bought the stack as well. I now have the predator on "performance." I am liking this tune. I tried RKL extreme and regular extreme. They both smoked too much for my daily driving taste. But the power was amazing and more than the clutch could handle. I did read the RP gets pretty high with the puck as well. I also just recently read that the puck swithc is mislabeled (50 horse setting is really adding 90 horse and vice versa).
Are you an 04 or an 04.5?

im not running the diablo tuner but im running the puck with a smarty and it seems to work pretty well. I think you would be impressed with it. I can feel the difference when I turn mine on. I dont know what the rail pressure runs I took my gauge out because it gave me issues. I know it runs better when its on. I dont leave it on all the time. it was half the price of an edge ez is why I got mine. the puck is no joke in my opinion

I would say try it out and see what you think. I do watch my pyro and my truck doesnt get really hot with the puck on it. I think you will like it. if you have it you might as well put it on and see what you think. Its just plug and play. I just ran the toggle switch thru the firewall at first to see how it was gonna run.
I like it alot better than the mp8 I tried.

Did you check your mileage before the Fun Country II's ? I went with the 35's but they got dropped me 2.5 mpg below the BFG Long Trails it had from the factory. I thought I would go up in mileage, but I think the softer rubber and wider tread kill the mileage. I even used a GPS to get the correct miles since the speedo was off.

yeah... come to think about it thats when i started losing mileage was right after i put them on. how much air do you run in yours. the top on mine is 50 and i run about 48. they still seem soft though

i think with the aluminum wheels the bigger tires were lighter then the stock steel wheels. i thenk in goin to give the puck a shot. whats the worse that could happen lose some more mileage?

I scaled my front and rear axles and e-mailed Cepek with the weights. They said with the 35's, 32 rear and 45 front. I do not tow at all and only haul the ATV in the back from time to time. I have approx. 5k on the tires and they are wearing very evenly.
