Electric Problem

I think I know the answer, but just wanted to get advice. I have the 2006 Ram CTD and am having electric problems. I noticed 2 days ago that the interior light was dim...and lit up when I pressed the gas...so Im thinking ive got a battery or alternator problem. Then last night, the truck would barely start and the radio would not work (wouldnt power up). Is there anything specific to the CTD that I should be thinking about b/f I get it looked at...or is it simply an alternator going bad? I am not getting any codes and the battery and cables look clean. Appreciate any help. thx

get batteries tested. if you have 1 bad one, replace BOTH of them at the same time.

Hello,

Sounds just like mine when I had 1 bad battery. Pull them & check em. Replace just the bad one in my opinion unless the other one is very old or has physical signs of distress.
