EGT mount for '06
Just going to throw a couple of digital options out there.
You can use this:
http://www.quadzillapower.com/prod_commander.html
This has a lot more than you are really asking for but it is in a nice clean package that can be mounted with an A-pillar mount and you still keep your handle. This would let you watch from 1-4 parameters at the same time and you decide which ones to watch.
If you want to save money and not have to buy any mounting hardware at all then look at this:
http://www.quadzillapower.com/prod_recon.html
It is economical and fits well on the steering column. Check out the installation instrucions for some pictures of it mounted. You could set this up for just EGT or EGT/Boost/Fuel Pressure.
It has warnings plus min/max recall functions built in. The thing is easy to read but very small I think it is roughly 4"x1"x.75" It is a nice compact and very accurate gauge.

I saw some of those display modules which look **** nice. I was looking at the Edge A2 monitor which is really sweet with the GPS and backup monitor.
I've got to admit that using the backup monitor would be just plain lazy. There are many times which attaching my trailer I do it by myself. You folks probably know the story. Back, stop look, back up some, determine how much farther to go. It takes a few minutes and I've actually gotten pretty good a lining things up on the first shot only only require one or two checks for distance. Have a monitor would allow a straight in shot so this would be a toy.
I use a GPS on my motorcycle when doing some of my long distance touring. I could move my bikes GPS to the truck so that option isn't really needed either.
Therefore, paying $1800 ($1,100+ for the A2 and $600+ for the juice module) is way to much since I really don't need the GPS, the monitor is not required, and I doubt with a 8-10k pound trailer I'll need any extra power.
If you can't tell, I'm trying to talk myself out of this option. ;-)
