Egt Guage Not Working After Install

Just installed my egt guage and it's not working. All ISSPRO Products. I followed the installation instructions to the letter and now the final results are no reading on the guage whatsoever.

Here is what I did:

-Drilled and tapped manifold for probe.

-Installed the probe

-Connected 6' lead wire to the probe. Red to Red, Yellow to Yellow to egt probe and Pyro Electronic box.

-Connected Guage White plastic connector to the Pyro Electronic Box connector.

-Tapped into orange with brown stipe wire behind dimmer switch for backlighting.

-Grounded guage black wire.

Nothing!

Help me please!

per the instructions, I used a "close by" phillips head screw and a d-ring to ground it. I grounded it with one of the phillips head screws that hold the light switch in place. Now that I think about it, it's plastic......Could this be the problems with everything not working?

It's real bright outside so I cannot tell if the light is working on the guage.

Where is a good place for the grounding wire?

Sounds like the gauge or the box it self needs power

THe "best" place to ground is to run it back out into the engine compartment, on the drivers side, there is a common ground for all the vehicle electronics. IMHO, its hit or miss with fastners inside the cab anymore.
