EGT Gauge/Probe install help

I'm getting ready to get an EGT gauge and mount for my 06. I was wondering if i could get some advice on the install. I was going to get the autometer factory match and srt-10 pillar. I know i need to tap the manifold as close to the #6 cylinder as i can but don't know exactly where. Any pictures of the location would be helpful if you've got em. i was wondering what are the best ways to keep the metal shavings out and remove what goes in.

Also if anyone has any advice on the wiring it would be appreciated.

Diesel Manor has detailed installation instructions for gauges. Here is the link. Click on the photos in order to view the instructions.

Not the way I did it. See that clocking on the top of the manifold - drill through the center with a small bit until you get to the 1/8NPT tap drill size. Use grease on the drill bits and only drill alittle then pull out, clean, regrease, keep going, repeat.
When you tap the hole grease, turn 1/4 then back 1/4, then turn another 1/4 turn then remove, clean, regrease, keep repeating this cycle. Big secret go slow and don't force anything. When you are complete place a pen magnet down the hole and clean it out lots of times and clean the magnet. Install probe and start engine. Let idle for a while to ensure any minute bits left go through the turbo. Mine seems ok and has been running for about 8000miles after install.
