Edge Juice w/ Attitude
I have in the past. What year truck are you talking about?
It is a good starter box. Most of the gauges, fairly cheap, good power for a stock truck. Air box mods/CAI and a fuel pump are all your need to have a strong stocker.
It will eat a clutch/tranny up in a few months if you drive hard, longer if you take it easy. If you keep it on 3 and don't drive like a retard, you can see 6+ months for an auto that is in good shape to begin with.
They do have good customer service for the most part.
Easy install, except for the EGT probe. If you are mildly mechanically inclined, it's not hard. (drill and tap)
Down sides: Not good when you start to grow, i.e. injectors, turbo.
It adds fuel and timing hard to make the power.
I never believed the EGT... my analog gauges were so much different than the edge display.
I have had one and installed a few on third gen and second gen trucks. Ask if you have questions.
HTH.

I have had 3 on my 04.5, the CS is def. the best of them. As mentioned above, it has most of the guages on it, which is nice. The ONLY thing I don't like about it on mine is that when I get pulling a load, my EGT's are high, shoot over 1200 when I have to get on it. My welding rig weights just under 12,000lbs, and even just running it around when I jump on the gas the EGT's shoot over 1200. But, other than that it is a nice chip. I am trying to sell it to get a smarty. Even though you have to buy a gauge cluster, they claim good low egt's, plus they have lots of tuning options. But, if you aren't gonna do a ton of mods and just want a good chip, I would recommend it. I have had it for 6 years, well versions before the cs also.
A friend has one on his 07, 5.9 and his only complaint are the sky high egts. 1,400 degrees is pretty easy and thats only towing 7,000 pounds. If you want safe egt's get a smarty. Amazing product.
