yea but he has said that if he gets into it with attitude on 0 he gets quite a bit of black smoke. Thats not right for a stock truck.

my buddy with the 06 took the edge off and if he gets on it, it rolls a bit of black smoke still. He is totally stock now and never had anything stacked. I think (may be wrong) but the edge left something on the PCM. I took the edge off and installed the smarty and dropped 200 degrees and now when i get on it (sw3) i can reach 1300 but have to work at getting it there.

With my 06, you have to really try to get over 1100. Pulling a load up a big hill on 2 wot and still not get 1300!

one other thing i forgot to mention is that my boost never gets over 23-25 psi ever. (unloaded)

Shouldnt it be in the 30's? Could this be why egts are high?
Cruising on highway at 65 mph my boost reads 4 psi

I believe that's what I mentioned last time you inquired about this. You should be in the upper 30's, if not the lower 40's. Have you checked your turbo? My guess is that your turbo may be fixing to take a dump on you.

i have warranty for the turbo. i normally check turbos at work because im a heavy equip mechanic but they normally push 28-32 psi boost.

What do u look for on these trubos. last time my filter elbow was off i looked at the impeller and it looked good. bearing felt good. it spun good.

I think that is pretty normal for EGTs and stock turbo. I would see 1550* on WOT pretty easy when I ran the juice/attitude and Quad XZillaraider Race. 1500* EGTs are not going to hurt anything empty for short bursts.

i doubt my turbo is going because UNLOADED i can hit 28 PSI boost on level 1. It eventually dies off. not only that i barely see black smoke.

I have no idea, but there's got to be something wrong. I could hit in the mid to upper 30's without even trying. If I tried, it would go on into the 40's. This is unloaded as well.

Are you getting plenty of cool air? I/E Good air intake / larger intercooler / Banks High Ram? It appears that you are ok at lower rpm with egt's and are not ok at higher rpm's. You are getting plenty of fuel but not enough cool air?

Oh. I see that you have the aero muffler. It works like an engine brake and blocks flo. I put one on my wifes car thinking that it would get better milage like they claimed. Ya right. It lowered the milage by 1/2 mile avg over 5 fuel tanks. Simple physics. The fastest way between two points is a straight line. I would loose that thing.
