Edge EZ/ Towing/ No Guages (yet)
I got that info from another thread last year. Edge will not tell you it exists if you ask them. I put mine in level 5 and tried it. A little more power but not anything too significant. I leave mine on 4.
As for the fuel pressure issue, that I'm not sure about. There are a lot of other boxes out there that put out way more HP & TG than the EZ.
I just put that info for level 5 in case someone was interested in trying it....I would think us folks with the Kalifornia Special 235 HP SO Cummins & 48RE would be OK with leaving the Edge on level 4, since that would now bring us up to about even with the new Cummins 600.

Hmmmm....I may try this Level 5 (read as Area 51) once I get my gauges. Until then I'll leave it on Level 4 and just try not to hot rod it too much.
Is there a Level 6?? I'm not going to have two men in black suits and sunglasses show up at my door for asking that am I??

Its not much more of a boost than level 4. I havn't really have it on level 5 that often so I can't really give you a definate answer if it raises the EGT's....If it does I doubt it is really that much. If you do a search on the Egde EZ i'm sure you can find more info on level 5.....
chrismez you need to try level 5, like this X:: I think you have the EZ set wrong for level 5.
Also take the extra jumper and move it all the way to the left bank of pins, these are for storage.
FWIW level 5 is much better than level 4.

For level 5 and 6 you place the blue jumpers as follows
::X X:: for 75 and ::: XX: for 80. I have had EZ's with one pin cut off so you could not set them to the higher levels and have had EZ's that fueled at stock levels when they were set at 75 and 80. I just set them up to 70
This is what I got off another post.........Some of the new ez's have a missing pin which will not allow you to set to the higher levels. I would be careful about fuel pressure. There were a couple of guys who messed up their injectors...FYI
