Havent had the ez on long. Went on a long trip unloaded. When I drove 55mph with the cruise on, the engine would surge up and down. At 70 it wasnt as bad but was still there. Anyone else have this problem? Is the truck having a problem that the box amplifies? Talked to edge. It is the latest version. They said it sound strange and they want it back to test.
Took box and boost elbow off, seems smooth now. Sure runs alot slower. Any help would be good.

 

My last box had a surging problem but it was only at idle. They sent me a new one immediately. Very good customer service. The best thing was that the new box has setting #5 and my first box did not.

 

Thank you for the reply. Hopefully it is just the box and not any problems with the truck. Going from level 3 to stock sure is a bummer!

 

Some of the surging with cruz is inherint to the CTD on the 03/04's. There is a TSB addressing the surg when using cruz so you may want to check it out

 

Actually upon reading your question again I have the same problem with the cruise control. I had no problems until the dealer reflashed my computer for a trans TSB. Took it back and they tell me it's normal and there's nothing they can do! It only does it between 45-55 mph though and I can't drive that slow anyways so I'm just living with it..
