Edge-A2

Does anybody have the A2 installed yet on an 03 auto,ho? I was wondering about results in the mpg issue. Its a lotta jing to spring for without some serious research. Also saw an A-pillar mount for the edge attitude but was wondering if it fits the A2 also. That looks like a real nice setup to save from buying a complete set of gages. Also who would have the best price/support for it?

The Domie,

The A2 and the Attitude will get the same MPG and performance as that part of them is the same. The A2 has the capability to display lots more parameters at one time and of course it has the full GPS function and optional camera features. We have sold a number of them on the 2003+ Dodges and folks love the easy useability etc.

well the juice is still the juice so MPG should be the same.

I have not seen any mounts for the a-2. when I saw it on trucks that was the one thing I hated about it was the size of the monitor. it seems like it would be hard to put in a pillar. I would rather have in dash nav and the regular attitude. if the a2 were cheaper it might be a dencent option but for the prices I have seen you could buy the juice w/attitude, and rb1/rb4 or aftermarket nav.

The Domie,

Nope it has it's own suction cup to mount to the dash or on the glass, most of the ones we have sold have placed it low next to the A pillar and on the glass.

The A2 is HUGE! I put one on a good friend of mines DMax and it weighs a ton. There is no way it will fit in a piller mount said up. I am making a custom insert to put it in his console so he will be able to have full view out his windshield lol. It is that big.

note to Edge

I wish they'd make an Attitude II with additional parameters but small enough to mount on the A pillar.
