Dyno Results
Well, I had a not so good dyno session. I've never been to this particular dyno, as they've only been in business about 1 month. The brand of dyno was DynoDynamics. I've never heard of it, but I thought I would give it a try. I'm not impressed to say the least. It is an AWD dyno for one, and it would be fine if you were trying to tune an Evo or WRX. It wouldn't even come close to loading the Dodge enough to get full boost or power for that matter, I was only seeing a max of around 30psi, and they didn't even have a squirrel fan to blow through the intercooler
Nonetheless, I made four pulls, turning the TST up a little every time and getting the same results. All pulls were made with the Crazy Larry set high (230hp).
Pull 1: TST 5/5,EZ-3
471rwhp, 1018tq
Pull 2: TST 7/7, EZ-3
476rwhp, 1021tq
Pull 3: TST 7/7, EZ-2
474rwhp, 1017tq
Pull 4: TST 9/9, EZ-3
478rwhp, 1025tq
This dyno doesn't have any kind of crank pickup or signal for RPM. They just enter the engine RPM off the tach in the truck at a certain wheelspeed and the dyno calculates what the engine RPM should be, so I'm sure that the torque #'s are about as accurate as peeing into a hurricane... What a joke.

I'll be heading to the Dynojet that I originally dynoed on soon, to get some real results... I know this thing makes huge power on the street, but that dyno just wouldn't simulate enough load.

Yeah, I think the guy running the joint just needed alot more experience... It seemed like a nice peice of equipment, except for the way that it gets the tach signal. My previous dynojet #'s are in my sig, that was with stock turbo and the 1st edition BDDL. The CLDL and EZ are new along with the Sledpuller66, the truck feels like it makes a TON more power than it did when I first dynoed it. I wouldn't even be able to feel a 10hp difference...
