Dyno reports of Quadzilla Xzillariader

Still looking to get some dyno reports from the Zxzillaraider boxes. Searching other sites I've found these

Truck
2003 2500 QC Laramie 4x4, SWB, 305/555, 6-Shooter, 3.73 Limited Slip, Debadged, KORE Chase System, Toyo 35x12.50R18 on KORE Welds, AFE Magnum Force w/PG7 and Pre-filter, Cool Blue Hose, Banks Monster Exhaust, Westach 35 psi boost/egt gauge and SRT-10 pillar, Xzillaraider

XzillaRaider - Standard 30-60-100 HP

Stock-
247.2hp @ 2750rpm
473.1tq @ 2500rpm

Mustang Dynamometer

Level 1, (30hp and 90tq advertised)-
275.1 @ 2750
535.3 @ 2500
Gain of 27.9 and 62.2

Level 2, (60hp and 120tq advertised)-
298.6 @ 2750
586.8 @ 2500
Gain of 51.4 and 113.7

Level 3, (100hp and 200tq advertised)-
326.2 @ 2750
685.4 @ 2250
Gain of 79 and 212.3

Truck 2004.5
2004.5 2500 QC 4x4 SLT CTD 600 48RE 3.73 LS, aFe Magnum air intake, 4" Banks Monster exhaust, 2" Daystar leveling Kit, BFG 315/70R/17 A/Ts, Rancho 9000X Shocks, Stainless Grille & Bumper Insert, Line-X Over Rails, Mopar Chrome Nerf Bars, Autometer Gauges(Pyro,60PSI Boost, Trans Temp)

XzillaRaider - Race 60-100-130 HP

Mustang Dynamometer - In ground setup.

Stock 249HP 500Torque(Not sure why this low, dyno'd higher stock before)
XZ Level 1(60HP) 329HP 646Torque
XZ Level 2(100HP) 357HP 677Torque
XZ Level 3(130HP) 379HP 716Torque

The 305/555 dyno'd with the Xzillaraider Standard (30-60-100) and teh 325/600 truck dyno'd with the 325/600 Race (60-100-130). Both trucks are remarkedly close in upgrades, AFE Intake, Banks Monster Exhaust, and 35" tires.

After seeing these two results, I'm now more confused.

Red Flag #1. Both motors dyno'd with 2 HP of each other stock. The 305/555 motor that dyno'd 247.2 HP / 473.1 tq stock, and a 325/600 motor that dyno'd 249 HP/ 500 TQ.

Red Flag #2. The 325 motor dyno'd at 249 hp. Most reports I've seen put it in the 270-275 range

Red Flag #3. The 305/555 engine puts up MORE TORQUE on the 100HP setting (685.4 @ 2250 ) than the 325/600 engines does at its 100 HP setting (677).

I know the mustang dynometers aren't consistent, but these reports have me confused. I haven't dyno'd my truck yet so have been looking at what other trucks have dyno'd. Can anyone comment on these reports ? I know Quad said the 325/600 trucks shoudl be dyno'ing in the 730 ish torque range.

Well the last set of numbers is mine. I posted about dyno results on another thread/site. Dynos are only as good as the setup/calibration and operator. They vary dyno to dyno and day to day. I will try to use the same dyno and operator for the nearest comparison results, but that is not going to be exact either. Too many factors that can effect numbers come into play. Weather conditions, diesel quality, truck at optimal running temp/condition, etc all have effects.

The numbers that I showed for the XZillaraider were consistent with HP ratings. Not sure why the torque numbers were low or why the stock hp numbers were that low. Maybe truck was just not at running temp the first pull. I was in a hurry and did not want to waste pulls and time, just wanted a quick baseline.

He was only 14 ft lbs shy of 730.

I can just about guarantee you that the first dyno was a MD250 or another double roller and the last dyno was a 1750 or the big single rollers.

Just my guess.

Gotcha. I was thinking you were saying the STANDARD box should be in the 730 ish range. Question is why isn't it? Stock truck will dyno about 520 ft/lb tq at the wheels. On the 100hp setting, its says you should get 200 ft/tq. 520 + 200 = 720 ft/lbs of torque.
