not true, you can getcha a GN hitch and pull till you are blue in the face with the duals. BTW tell them they are douches for even mentioning that.

The only thing I can think of is, by looking at the B&W on line, maybe the mounting bracket sticks out too far and has a clearance issue with the inner wheel/tire. And something I don't know right off, maybe the dually frame rails won't match the installation kit because of differences. If either is the case, the designers of the hitch should be shot. I thinking the folks you talked to need to stay away from the crack. Duallys and goosenecks are made for each other. If they don't agree with that, I sure wouldn't let them touch my truck to even change a tail light.

I'm guessing he's actually talking about dual exhaust, not dual rear wheels?

Either way, your local diesel shop is wrong, as I've got dual exhaust and the B&W Turnover ball with zero troubles. In fact, they don't even come close to interfering with one another. MBRP, Silverline, Banks, Diamond Eye, etc. etc. etc. all make duals for these trucks that should work fine with the B&W system.

I have the MBRP dual exhaust and the driver side pipe that crosses over the axle hits the B&W turnover ball hitch. They touch just sitting there. You cannot turn the ball upside down in the socket because of this, but that's not really a big deal.

Now that was funny. He was talking about dual exhaust I'm sure. Actually, on the MBRP website, it does mention that the DUAL EXHAUST will not work with some hitch's. Can't really remember exactly how they worded it. But obviously djgaston is using it, so there it is.

God I hope I didn't read the title wrong. Then the joke's on me.

Sorry guys, I should have worded it better. I was talking about dual exhaust. tobyw, what brand of dual exhaust do you have? djgaston, you have MBRP duals and the B&W and they touch? just barely or rammed against it? Thanks, and sorry about the confusion once again...you gotta remember I'm a newbie

I have the Diamond Eye dual 4" system on my truck, and like I said there is no trouble at all. I wonder if maybe it would have something to do with a shortbox vs. a longbox as to whether interference would be an issue? Mine is a longbox, by the way...

06dually,

Can't say about the other brands out there but the MBRP duals will work for you. The B&W brand hitch is the only one we have ever had any issues with just like djgaston said the ball will hit when you turn it over into the "stored" position. When pulling the ball is in the up position and doesn't interfere at all. Plus you can ding that tail ipe for a bit more clearance and then the "stored" position isn't an issue either. You do need 4x4 for duals though to get the clearance that is required over the axle and driveshaft etc. The MBRP duals are available in aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless too.
