Too Much Traction With 4 Tires. If You Want To Make A Video, Spray Chlorox On Em And They Will Boil.

Get a lil bit of water underneath em and you may have to hold the brake about 5-6 sec. till the boost gets up and then let it roll forward a little bit and they'll fry.....mine does this stock.

I'll second that.

If I even look at the throttle on a wet street my truck goes sideways.

on wet roads i dont have a problem, it would break sideways stock. i think that i have an anti-spin rear does that make a difference, also it would blow black smoke then clear then black again when i was trying to power brake

Your Edge is making power and smoke until the tranny slippage while trying to powerbrake causes th Edge to defuel. Once the tires get going the tranny slippage probably lessens therefore allowing the Edge to begin fueling again. Hence the black smoke coming back. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Read the book for your Edge and follow the instructions on how to temporarily disable the defueling feature. Then go smoke your tires AND your tranny.

Well, with a dually you have alot of pavement covered! I have a SWR with a Edge programer and on setting 3,4 and 5 it does nothing but get sideways on me. I need more traction! But, yes water and Clorox will work nicely!

if you have a stock converter still its just real sloppy and hard to put enough power to the ground before your tourqe managment kicks in.tourqe managment is when the trucks computer sees boost and fuel but no speed and it will defuel. mine used to do it at about 22 lbs of boost. a good converter will put enough power to the ground to start spinning the tires so your speedo moves befor 22 lbs of boost. dont hol me to it but i think tourqe managment is on 01-05 trucks. not sure about the 06 or 07's. bd sells a box called a rad that overrides the trucks tourque managment. $200 bucks from jegs or summit.
