Dual valve springs vs single

On comp D forum a member runs dual valve springs with Ti retainers. He claims they were cheaper than F1
Has any one heard of this set up? Very interested cause Douse is better than Uno!!!!

Their was a post either on comp d or here that went over dual springs and the majority of the people in the know said not to use them. Some had the inner springs break and bind the outer etc. Anyway do a search and read for yourself, cause from what I read the duals are a pain and the singles are the way to go.

I ran dual springs for a bit and all I can say is never again. The inner springs tend to bind on the outters and break them........ Now I run F1!

I believe the inner springs can cause sealing issues with the valve stem seals through physical interference, and frankly - I don't see the benefit of using Ti retainers on a sub 5KRPM mill.

Correct me if I am wrong but wont the Ti retainers wear out quicker too? I thought they were more for dedicated pull/race rigs.
