I'm thinking at this point that I'll put an EGT gauge in the SRT-10 A-pillar mount and then eventually put boost and fuel pressure in a dual pod steering column mount. I don't want triple pod A-pillar mount.

 

I put the Boost in the SRT-10 Piller, and EGT and Trans. Temp in the stearing column pod.

 

Is fuel pressure a concern on the 3rd gens? I thought I heard that with a redesign we don't have to worry about a faulty lift pump taking out our injection pumps.

 

All you need is positive pressure. So anything above 0. I still think that about 15psi would be ideal.

 

So then what's the purpose of having a fuel pressure gauge??

 

To make sure you have positive pressure. DUUUUH . You can also adjust your driving for better mileage by driving by your boost, fp, egt gauges. You want the highest possible reading on the FP gauge and the lowest possible reading on the other 2.
