For those of you with Dash Mount Gauge Pods.....

Where did you get them from?

I remember my buddy had one but he cant seem to remember where he got his from. I want to do 3 gauges on the dash and possibly one on the steering column or two on the pillar.

I have plenty of info on the steering column and a-pillar, just not much on the dash mount holders.

the tripple gauge pod for the 3rd gens fit our dash almost perfectly. I had to do some very minor trimming to match the curve on one side but thats it.

Post My Gauge Mounting

Here is what I have; I got mine from Banks Engineering here in Azusa Ca. just a few miles from where I live. I bought it about 6 years ago.
Notice it has a bottom piece so it fits the dash perfectly.

I have never purchased anything from this company but it looks like they have some nice products.

This one here looks almost identical to mine except for the bottom mounting but you could make one yourself now that you see what it looks like.

You could use a piece of aluminum bent at a 90* and follow the contour of the dash or you could bend some lexan if you had the skills.

Here is a pillar mount that shows specific to our years, maybe?

I have built a set of 4 gauges on the dash of a V-8 Vega, the housings were made out of cut down Beer Cans with the name still showing, mounted to the top of a piece of polished aluminum plate.

I do not drink but it was for a friend and it was a one of a kind mount.
