If you're running 500+ hp, yes.

 

Like how much? a big difference? im running 540 hp?

 

well, on my truck I was able to turn the tst up 1 additional setting. Worth it imo

 

what does it hook up to and how?

 

hooks up to back of cp3, and takes the place of the pressure relief valve in the rail.

 

do you jus leave the return hanging like that?

 

yep. just like that. The day I installed it, I tried to block off the filter housing and the pump with a couple of cut down bolts(the other two spots that line runs to) and the truck wouldn't run. Hooked it back up the way you see it and it started right up. I don't care for it either, but that's the way industrial says to do it. I suppose you could run a better line from the housing to the pump and have it look cleaner.
