I could sure be wrong here but it's just the way I'm looking at the debate of duals vs single. 1st I'd like to say John does modded pumps better than any others I've seen,.. by a mile.

My understanding is that the duals are working at 1/2 their design rate at wot, whereas the cp3 stg 3, for example, is a highly modded pump that is doing quite the opposite and working a triple shift to make it happen at similar levels of performance.

Also there is the issue of pressure vs volume. Somehow many are hung up on pressure and after having done this both ways,... I ran a dual pressure selection single for over a year that gave me 27psi on the low pressure side and 54psi on the high pressure side vs my current setup of 17psi at idle and 23psi at wot,... and it never varies and that is without any mod to the rail pressure or a pressure box being in the mix. I make a lot more power with volume than I ever did with pressure. RC *** and Relentless led that premise, as I recall,... and he was under 15psi and was making almost 1200hp with two oem stock cp3s/fca's.

What I've seen personally will keep me in the volume vs pressure side of the debate. Like I said,... I could certainly be wrong here but that is what I've seen and I've gone both ways on this debate. Also I have zero issues with weird or strange problems like surging or not being able to use my cruise because it is master...ing me while I go down the road with jerking back and forth. The duals have been absolutely transparent except you have all the fuel and more than you could ever use.
