You're going to get mixed answers on this one. Some say it helps and others say it doesn't and still others say it hurts. I only know of one test personally and he lost 13hp. That could just be some inconsistency in the pulls, but it for sure didn't add any power. That was on a 700hp truck by the way.

I agree with what he says above. You get mixed answers form people who are supposed to know better. II advertises something like up to 75HP gain I think. I just spoke to John at floor it last week and he told me he has dynoed these things to no end... stage one, stage two CP3s-- high HP trucks, lower hp trucks, all his dyno pulls showed zero improvement. It is also possible for the lines to cavitate too. Take it FWIW... but for me at $250 a pop, I'd want proof it really works.

Take this with a grain of salt mind you - the reason I have dual lines is that I have dual CP3s to match.

I researched this one pretty thoroughly, and came to the conclusion that it was a useless mod on my truck as a stand alone deal early on.

Results are all over the planet on this one as Omaharam mentions above.

I'd rather have an Arson's CP3 kit from Wicked diesel. But, it's $400 and it actually works. Just google it. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Yea ,tranny is a little more than I can afford at the time. So I guess I'm going with the AFE torque tube, it's in my price range.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but if you're looking for bang for the buck, the torque tube isn't it. You will not see a power improvement for your money. I would say a lift pump. That way you know you are getting enough fuel to feed larry.

Good point. A good lift pump will be there for your next mod no matter what.

Crazy Larry alone can eat a stock auto, so you can do tranny mods now or be stranded later. Its not as fun as adding more power, and you cant really show the parts off, but they will make you faster, stronger, and save alot of money in the long run.

Just do a tq conv and vb now, then do the rest later.
