DTT shift enhanser
if its anything like the one i have from goerend w/ the three lights and one button to switch between daily/tow/race, all it does is increase line pressure which gives a firmer shift for each setting. it will also help w/ flare between shifts. but it DOES NOT do anything to the shift points because that is all controlled by the ecm so unless you have something that downloads or piggybacks the ecm then all your doing is increasing line pressure via the tva (throttle valve actuator) on the drivers side of the trans where the shift enhanser wires in.
now if you are refering to a downloader that will modify the trans tunning in the ecm, then yes it will change shiftpoints and locking points of the converter. but that is going to cost alot more than $250

It does raise the shift points based on throttle position. It wires into the fly-by-wire accelerator pedal and increases the signal sent to the transmission, fooling it into thinking you are in it more than you really are. The three different levels are the percentages of signal increase. They can be adjusted by a DTT dealer. Usually daily=20%, tow=35%, and race=45%. The line pressure is increased in the same aspect as the shift rpm because the tranny thinks you have the go pedal down more than you really do. Each level causes my truck to shift about 3 mph higher, but not really harder.

Ghost Ram is right also. I sat in the passenger seat of my truck holding a pressure gauge while Dave Goerend test drove it. You can see the line pressure increases as he went from daily-tow-race. If it says shift Enhanser on it, we are talking about the same product, regardless of who installed it.

Where is the best place to read line pressure for tuning?
Also, if I understand their operation - they don't have anything to do with OD lockout or converter lockup?
