Drained Fuel Rail Solutions????
Drained Fuel Rail Solutions????
Hey guys..
I am currently looking into upgrading my fuel system and was wondering what all steps need to be taken to keep the fuel rail from being emptied.
I have heard this is a common problem on our common rail trucks and have heard that it is possible for me to drain the rail with nothing more than my TST set on one of it's upper levels.
Has anybody come up with a solution to this?
Would it be possible to make a "High Capacity" Fuel Rail that the injector lines feed from?
I would really like to find a solution to this problem because I plan next to find a set of injectors and put my Edge EZ back on.

Even with a better LP you will drain the rail. You can try one of the modified CP3 pumps but that's lots of $$$....
I have a FASS and although it always keeps lots of pressure, even at WOT, the rail still runs dry on 7/7.....
