Just drive it nice and you shouldn't have a problem, but if your going to tow heavy ground the yellow or orange wire(can't remember which) or take it off.

Like bigjohn mentioned, take her easy. If you drive it like a sensible person then you will not have any issues what so ever. If you take it easy it may even help things shift a little better.

As soon as you start doing brake stands, racing from light to light then your looking for trouble. I ran a BullyDog Tripple Dog stacked w/ a Dr.Performance box for thousands of miles and my tranny never gave me an issue. And believe me I wasen't grandfathering it.

It's all about how you approach it.

well I don't know about that product. But I know with my programmer tuned to the extreme setting I can tell when i get on her if I am hurting it or not. you will feel the engine tearing the thing apart if you do a lot of fast take offs and such style of driving. Now on the other side if I drive like a responsible person staying in the boundry of the laws then the truck feels and drives fine and I don't feel like I am hurting anything, and I have the quick response I like if and when I need it. there is lots of torque there so play nice and enjoy the power when you need it.

you shouldnt have too worry about the predator....it is strictly a top end box....so in essence unless you have it too the floor all the time in the 2200= rpm range the tranny will not(should not) get hurt.

Used one on a 03 and towed 40' 5th wheel (tripple axle w/8 lug's) Never had any problems but never drove it like I stole it. Got upwards to 23mpg@65mph on the flats. Just be careful as it wont do any tranny adjustments as a reprogramer does. Getting aggressive on applying large amounts of torque is what will get your tranny. Long hills with a heavy load under low rpm = Hot tranny. Like ramtd02 above says.........
