First of all, I know they are not popular here. One of my friends is a dealer and has done some testing......showed it didn't increase EGT's. I can't find anything on the search and wanted to hear from people with experience. Wow I need to update my profile.....04.5 3500 auto bone stock.....Mileage bites the big one.....12mpg in town with a light foot. been looking at the quad also
I have tried the 2021 stg 3 module from them it was all pressure and ran great on the big end and really was great with the diablo lots of low end. However it would set the P0148 code (fuel delivery error) like nobodies business i called them several times and each time got a different answer finally got a decent answer they said send it in granted it was one month old and we can reflash. "So will this fix the problem no more codes?"
Well sir the problem is its not fooling the comp. blah blah blah.
"well then whats the reflash gonna do"
This will simply allow you to set it on the center setting for a couple of hours and it will eventually clear itself. But you wont be able to run with it on the high setting for awhile.
My experience wasnt good at all ended up sending it back and getting my money back but still not the tech support i was looking for.

Thanks for the reply, this is the company/personal truck and I dont want to do too much to it, just wanted to get better mileage and a little more performance. The guy that sells them is a friend, but also a salesman.....and I figure there are a lot more people here with experience than just his experiences.
Thanks man the best is yet to come, but I just noticed your truck was a 04.5 this problem was only on my 07 truck but have talked to people with 06-07 trucks with the same problems, havent heard anything on the 03-04 and 04.5-05 trucks.

Almost every single performance product I have put on my 07 has given me problems. I'm back to stock right now and may stay that way...
On the old 03 I rarely had a problem with anything I put on it.

Seriously, are you liking the 07? I'll probably be searching for another truck soon(used 06-07 mega5.9L).
I sell them and have had no complaints out of the 03-04.5 trucks, on the other hand the new 07 and 6.7 modules always come back. They are very hard to deal with as a dealer and still cant get the tech support, but they work very well on the early trucks IMO. They are a good stacker with a Triple dog too.
If your looking for mpg you can't beat the 2017. Its only 85hp an non-adjustable but I put 1 on for a guy who owns a local constuction company an he liked it so well he has now has 1 on all 7 of his trucks. These are 05-07 5.9 trucks an he tells me they are getting 2-3mpg increase. No codes or problems on any of the trucks like the 2021. As for customer service it definatly sucks almost as bad as SP Diesel but I was informed as of last week that Dr P has new owner and several people have been replaced.
The P0148 code is pretty common on the '06-07 trucks with most fueling boxes. I have heard that there is a TSB that changes the fueling parameters back to pre '06 ranges. It was buried in a trailer light flash/check engine light issue or something. I will dig and see if I can find the TSB number. I do recall that the TSB never mentions anything about fueling errors but is related to erroneous check engine lights while pulling trailers. The DR boxes are very similar to the quad boxes. Some say they are a little milder than the quad stuff in general. They are killer with a bullydog stack on a Dodge!! Everyone I know that has one sees a nice boost in mpg also.
The problem with these smaller companies and tech is they don't have enough people. The guys that know there stuff are working on trucks and researching the next project. I know that the new engine models have the knowledgeable people working double time. The smart ones are pretty hard to get ahold of when you are having issues. They have people answering tech questions that aren't all that bright. Most of them are working off a FAQ sheet. When they don't know the answers they guess. Not a healthy situation if you ask me.

I was talking with the head engineers at dr. p and that was their exact words. But like member xtremeflow stated he has several trucks with a dr.p 2017 on them and no problems whatsoever its wierd and they are 06-07 trucks also.
Mine is a 2018, and only had 1 problem with it......that was when i first got it and i already bad a bad injector, since then all is good.
BTW, when i got the P0148 fuel delviary code.....I had a bad injector.....so for those you getting this code maybe you should have the dealer check things out.....mine was sticking closed causing abnormally high rail pressure.
