Ive got a kenwood dnx 6960 to install in my 07 over the next few days. I ve already found a Nav bezel from the dealer, but am having an issue.

I recieved a scosche 1289 install kit with the radio. The kit leaves about 1/8th inch gap all the way around. According to sonic electronix, this kit is the same size as the american international cd-k650.

Do you double din guys have a gap around the install kit?

 

I put a Clarion double din dvd in mine. It came with a trim ring, but there isn't enough room for it. It seems like a snug fit. All I have is the head unit in the cage with the NAV dash piece around it. There's not enough of a gap to bug me.
