Espar coolant heater. This heater looks like the #$%^. Does anyone have any experience with one of these units. No need for a plug in, just set the timer and voila instant cab heat, block heat. Anyone ?

 

No but looks pretty interesting. I would be interested in the price.
Looks like you would have to run a wire to the batteries and also a fuel line dor the diesel fuel..

The only price i have so far and it isn't very good is 2160 cdn (1600 us) installed. I think you can find a way better deal personally. A little expensive but very cool indeed. The guy i talked to said they only install the Hydronic 5 now, better heat than the 4. Definately on the x-mas list.
