Im not real sure on diesels but everyone i have talked to says you always change your lifters and rods when doing a cam and springs and stuff just wondering if its the same for our trucks or are the factory ones good enough.

The factory pushrods and lifters are fine, just upgrade the valve springs.
Which I see you are.

I would never run used lifters on a new cam! Lifters don't wear flat and smooth. They'll kill a cam lobe in much shorter time than new ones would.

We haven't had any problems using the stock Lifters and Pushrods, but I will recomend going with a new cam ground from a UGL and not a regrind.
