Do I need a rail pressure gauge with just Smarty Jr?

Hi, sorry if this has been covered... I tried searching but couldn't find an answer to my liking. I'm currently stock other than intake and exhaust and am looking to upgrade with fp, pyro, boost, and tranny temp gauges and then throw on a Smarty Jr. Question, do I need/should I get a rail pressure gauge as well? For the autometer factory match gauges I plan on buying its an extra $200! I don't wanna waste 200 bucks on something I don't need but if its necessary I suppose I will...Thanks. Any thoughts/opinons welcome.

I would say no, but it is a great tool. Just remember, excessive pressure to our CR injectors will ruin them quick, and it's not cheap... a lot more expensive than 200 bucks.

I have a quadzilla RP gauge, it was fairly cheap when I bought it, but when I looked on their website, all I could find was the 6.7.

I'd give them a call and see...

The RP gauge is the only reason why i still have the quadzilla on my truck. I'm looking to get a real RP gauge in the future tho

I agree with spooler, its not needed. The Jr does not modify rail pressure, and does not add enough hp to drain the rail.

I don't have one but I also don't keep my foot in it for very long. I did get a fuel pressure gauge installed where the cigarette light plug is next to the AC controls. I like it as it is post filter and will let me know when to change it.
