I don’t know how other states work, but in California stolen property can be entered if there is a unique number assigned. Things like rims don’t have a serial number, but you can create your own and use a set of number punches to put the number on the inside someplace. In California, your drivers’ license is a good number because most cops will recognize it for what it is and run it in the system. Since your drivers license is a unique number and only issued one time, it will always come back with your name (even if it is expired or suspended). As long as there is an OAN (owner applied number) the property can be entered into the stolen property system (known as APS in the cop world) and any officer in the state will be able to check when they run across them at a swap meet or a pawn shop.

No you may not want to get your stuff back if it’s all messed up, but wouldn’t it be nice for the Fk’ers to go to jail for taking it in the first place?

Lucky for you 555, you still have your truck.
On January 24th of this year my 03 was stolen.
Those dirtbags only did me a huge favor. One month later I took delivery of my 06. In the long run, what goes around comes around . And people get what they deserve

Sorry to hear about the loss. It sounds like it was an inside job...someone who knew your truck. It would be stupid for anyone local to put thoes on their truck. They are very inique set up...even the tires are rare.

dirty rotten thieves, hate 'em!
I do know how you feel, had the house burglarized twice and once just recently.

I have the Wheel locks and Tonneau locks on top of the above. Won't stop them, but they will have to work harder and maybe make noise. Maybe enough noise so I can try out the new 40cal silver tipped hollow point loads .

had somebody try and break into my house 3 months ago....poor guy didnt realize my mastiff likes blood, and is suprisingly quiet for a 230 pound dog. as soon as the guy came in the dog grabbed him and dragged him downstairs, even forgot the 9mm he was carrying on the floor. Needless too say the guy had a rough night!!! Hes just lucky i let him go.

People like that should be shot in 4 places, both knee caps, and both shoulders, then left out on a cold edmonton street in our wintetr weather!!!

Canada or Alberta atleast should adopt the american style of justice, guy breaks into my house and i shoot him, simple, none of this me getting charged jibber jabber

God...I love Mastiffs! Quiet...calm...and stronger than heck. I had a 245 lb English...and a 160 lb Bull before...I need another bad. They somehow sense the "bad guy" better than any dog I have ever owned. Your baby/young kid can ride um...tug on there ears and play all day and they are as calm as can be...then in 2 seconds dismantel some gangbangers Pit Bull...

Best truck security system ever..when they are in the back.

i totally agree, mine is an english, but he is only 12 months old and already 230+, his dad was a stout 271, and momma was 245, so he is gonna be a monster, he is already 36 inches at the shoulder!! LOL.

I think those guys should be punished just the same as the guys that actually take the stuff

I had about $3k in CDs in my 99 when it was stolen, along with about $3k in tools, and brand new tires, that I had saved for and all new brakes (calipers, discs, cylinders, pads and shoes, and the fluid flushed) and two month old Optimas...

That sucks..sounds like somebody on the inside to me. I know with my 20-locking Gorilla set, they came with a card where you can order an extra key..
