Dirty Rotten 2 Bit Thieves
Yep, all 8 were lockers! Festus I live in Clareview. I've already talked to my tire shop and while I have total faith in the owner/manager that I deal with you never know what kind of cull's are in the back. Could have also been someone from the 4x4 shop that did my lift I suppose. There are some pics in my gallery also. As for punishment, I'm all for bringing back some public floggings in the "town square"! Thanks again for listening to me whine.

they should let the muslems punish the criminals for these crimes.. they have good punishment for these crimes out in the middle east.. caught stealing, off comes a hand [and foot sometimes].. rape a women, guess what gets cut off...
Now you're talking Nick, I bet it wouldn't take many to scare the punks straight. The only consolation is knowing that the meth or rock the misfit druggie thieves bought with the proceeds puts them one step closer to the grave.
All this stealing is really getting out of control. Everywhere you go, just about everyone you know, someone is a victim at every turn. It does sound like it could be an inside job from one of the places you have had your truck to and worked on.
I had a friend who actually stamped the inside of his rims with a code number before he put on his tires, had some special valve stems of some kind, and he had lockers on all his lugs too. He came out of work to find his truck on blocks too. A couple weeks later he spotted a truck and knew that his wheels were on it because of the valve stems in them. He called the police, gave them the license plate, and sure enough - when they pulled off the rubber - there was his special numbers. The best part was that the guy who had his wheels worked for the parts place that he ordered his lockers from, since he was so specific about having one key to fit all the fellow gave him the keys -1 and he did not notice he was missing a key from all the sets he had.
We do need to find a way to increase punishments and enforce them, that might make someone thing twice or not at all about doing the crime. Maybe the system used in the ME would be a good idea. And yes, if they are drug users and selling the stuff they steal, they will be one more step closer to the grave when all is said and done. What a consolation.

Just an update after what seemed like an eternity of waiting and uncertainty, my insurance company coughed up a cheque for the whole value less a $250 deductable!!
What a relief! I recently got some used 35" claws (couldn't stand the 285's) and I'm having fun burning them off and will get some Toyo's again before spring but man I'm certainly enjoying them on the stock rims. After 3 weeks I was already getting tired of cleaning the Moto Metals and man does it stay clean with the flares and stock offset. Gonna have to give the bling a serious re-think.

Sorry to hear about that. Down here in South Florida the weather is nice all year round for the low-lifes. I have locking EVERYTHING, and a concealed carry permit. I once had some idiot cut a big hole in the back plastic window of my Jeep (they could have juts unzipped it....)nothing to take, but I had to buy a new window. When I travel and sleep in the RV section of my gooseneck, it is always "lightly". My military vehicles (of course...) have no keys, so I have to get creative with battery kill switches, locking battery boxes, removable steering wheels. I even now back my rear-wheel drive cars into the driveway so someone can't come with a recovery truck and snag one. My two Rotweillers sleep heavier than I do...what to do ! Again, that is really pathetic when a working man gets ripped off by some lazy &*^%$#.

The dealer/mechanic scam is way too easy. I am very sure that is how a lost a Ford....7 years ago.
The mechanic can give "hot" tips/key copy's/addresses etc just for a finders fee...and make good money. He does not even have to be the thief.

I live just east in Sherwood Park, I'll keep an eye out. I have the motometals 951's. I park in my garage and turn on my alarm. I'm scared to leave it at the mall to go christmas shopping. Did you check all the pawn shops on 118ave? Half the problem is someguys are willing to buy stolen stuff!
been a bad year for me in calgary too, my kids and my quad stolen, both chained and locked in the back of my truck( but they didn't cut the chains off my loading ramps??) my winter beater stolen a week later, a scumbag pulled a "there's something in my sandwich , and i'm gonna sue B.S."cost me 3k . this booming economy is great but seems that it is brining every lowlife on the planet with it!! and all the locks , and security money can buy don't seem to help. i wish i knew how to run a msd blaster 2 coil to my door handles , or chains or whatever i'm trying to protect and give 60000 volt shock to em and melt there fingertips to whatever their trying to grab.( and ,my quads were in that truck from calgary all the way to sandiego , for 6 weeks, i was home for 2 days , it the 2nd night right in front of my house!! i would have expected this in L.A. but not at home)
