Dipricol guages and pillar question...

Do these look more like stock than the Isspro's? And which a-pillar mount REPLACES the factory one with removing the grab handle? I think there seems to be a brand or two that just offsets more to clear the handle and I want them tucked as close to pillar as possible. Pics would be super! I did a search and saw some but not all.

I have the Dipricol guages, not the new optix. I just added the isspro fuel pressure gauge. They look almost the same. The isspro is much brighter at night. Which I like better than the Dipricol. The pillar mounts do not replace the factory pillar. They are only covers. You must butcher you old pillar by cutting off the grab handle and then running all of the wires/tube through the new hole. I'm not sure if you have to make any cutting modifications on the over head display gauge console. Good Luck

If you are wanting to install just one gauge into the a-pillar you can get the SRT=10 A-pillar single pod which keeps the grab handle.

If you are installing 2 or 3 gauges they make full replacement A-pillars double or triple gauge pods...no need to cut anything.

Ataboy,
Our customer have told us that the new DiPricol Optix gauges match the factory dash much closer than the Isspro. We sell lots of them both and have everything to make the installation complete. Your welcome to look through our web site to get an idea of some of the different mounts available.

No actually I did mean remove the handle. It looks to me like some pods(not sure of brand) stick out into the window more than others. I just assumed it was for the guages to clear the handle that was still there behind the pillar. I could be wrong it just appeared that way but I have never seen instructions for any pillar.

Ok, sorry for the confusion. I just bought a SRT-10 A-pillar single gauge mount myself, and I thought that was what you were looking for. My other 3 are in the cubby bin under the radio/ac controls.
