Differential Madness!!!!!

I bought some Oasis diff covers. First off, they sent the cheapest aluminum boltsthey coul find which continually broke off during tightening, prior to torquing. Then the front cover hits the track arm if I run over anything bigger than a twig in the road. the company I bought from is willing to take them back and exchange for my preference. My question to everyone is Mag-Hytec or PML. Specifically, which one doesn't have ay clearance problems with the front differential. I have a 9.25" 14 bolt front. The back is 11.59" 14 bolt rear, but there is plenty of clearance there for just about anything. The whole point of these diff covers was to make changing the fluid easier, know this whole process has become a huge pain. I just want to get these covers on and be done with them!! Thanks for your input. And please advise from people who actually have the product they are recommending on there vehicle. Mine is a 06 Quad Cab 4x4, LB.

I like them both. So I solved the "which one to buy problem" by buying one of each....

I have a MH on the rear (love it!) and recently put a PML on the front. To my knowledge MH has not completely resolved their rubbing issues on the front. And besides that.......IMO...the front MH looks weird with a weird design on the top of it. The PML front diff cover Rocks.

You bring up a good point. TO ME, the rear is where you need the extra fluid, if we do indeed need extra fluid. So maybe that is the best of both worlds. Get a little extra fluid up front and some nice looks and save some $ with the pml, then get A LOT of extra fluid and insurance in the rear but costs a little more $.

I have the Mag Hytec cover on both the front and the rear, no hitting or rubbing. I also have the Kore Leveling Kit, so that could account for the difference between me and others who do have some problems. My front diff cover is a ver early S/N-081, they are up in the S/N's quite a bit now, there should not be problems according to the company as they changed them very early on, way before my S/N.

I use my truck off road, some very twistly and difficult articulations at times and have had no problems.

I have a PML on front with no clearance problems (Krylon painted red) and the Oasis black powder coated Ram's Head on the rear. My Oasis mounting bolts were steel hexes not aluminum, I think maybe someone screwed up on your kit.
