I would like some feedback please, on anyone running the DPS twins. I'm looking at the d62/s475 setup. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Primary is S475 with what a/r?

 

The secondary is 62/65/12,and the primary
is an S475. I think it was a 1.24.

 

They dont make an 1.24a/r, its probably a 1.32a/r which is standard size, but as for the kit Id look else where I know of a couple people that had to redo the whole kit, Id look else where.

 

Who's kit would you suggest, really want the s475 on the bottom.
It is going on the 07, I tow with it everyday now, and the spool
up is terrible on the sb62.

 

Id do a stocker over a s475 either Wicked, ED, Source, or MPI, will all give you a quality bolt up kit.

 

I have the d-tech 62/65/12/S475 kit on my truck. I just finished installing it last week, went on a TOWING trip with it a few days ago.

All I have to say is WOW what a difference. Lots of power, actually power to spare. My EGT's are CONSIDERABLY LOWER.

Last time I towed my TT, which is a little over 14K loaded, my EGT's were 1450 -1500*s on a couple of the grades I have to travel to go to Albuquerque and back. These grades are 6% at 5000-7000+ ft elevation. This trip, same route, same grades, my EGTs NEVER got over 900*s and I had power to spare.

The kit was easy to install, everything fit perfectly, and everything is functioning perfectly.

Thanks for the positive input CD, I have seen on a couple of other forums, where people are using the stocker over a bigger primary, and the stockers are failing. Also the stocker only has a 9cm housing, thats not going to drop my EGTS like i want.

 

It's not the stocker that's dropping your EGT's. It's the big turbo right below it

 

I'd bet their stock turbo was getting ready to fail anyway.

i have MPI twin kit htt 62/65/12 with a s475, spools great, egts were greatly reduced, i am running 80 hp injectors

 

Thanks to all for the input, i ordered the setup yesterday. I can't wait to get them put on. I'll let everyone know how they work for me.

 

I had 01 kit from DPS love it know got a 04 and can't wait to get twin on that
