Dead truck with Bully Dog and bad TIPM
Truck died the other night. Had to have it towed to a dealer. Haven't had a chance to unflash Crazy Larry yet. Dealer has it and says they can't get a signal from the TIPM or the starter ($2200). I have a feeling that the real problem lies in a bad remote starter, the Viper 5104 installer agrees and is looking at it now at the dealership, but I should probably be unflash with the Triple Dog regardless.
I know the return to stock feature, but I also remember reading there's a trick to making sure it's REALLY unflashed despite what it says. Something like returning the special options back to stock before returning to stock power. High Idle? Stock Tire Size? Something like that. Anyone done this and KNOW for sure. What were the stock size tires in inches?
Thanks!

Yeah I know alot of people hate Bully Dog. Running Crazy Larry though, penny for penny, a triple dog has more bang for the buck than anything out there including Smarty. You can pick one up for $150-200. Next to nothing. It's been on there for 5-6 yrs with zero issues. It's a good tune. That being said, I want to go EFI live soon.
I realize the tires are 265's, but is the question really is what is the stock setting it needs to go back to...in inches.
EDIT: The corrosion on the TIPM doesn't appear to be the issue. It was the digital bypass for the remote starter. Seems to be working fine now. TIPM is probably going to die in the future though I'd guess.
