IIRC the difference between the the CP3 is the the low side gear pump. I have to go look again for sure but I beleive the Dmax's low side pump to be bigger.

You are correct about the FICM being the problem not the FCA (Pressure regulator in the Dmax world). The Cummins uses a Bosch ECM which does not need a FICM like the Delphi unit used in 01-05 Dmaxs. 06 Dmaxs do not use a FICM either and could really care less about input pressure from a lift pump.

this is alot of good info but does the FCA in the Dmax resemble the cummins one, mainly the sleeve that gets modified in the relentless thread? are the different for more fuel flow or would it be best just to modify mine?
