I may be putting together a set with a stock 05 turbo and an HT3B. A little old skool, but it should work for playing and towing. I'll document it if I ever get around to it...

Several people on here have used the stocker over an S400. If you're at higher elevation or tow frequently, I recommend going with the 74mm wheel over the 80mm wheel in the S400.

I have a stocker with a 74, I plan on running an 11.80 at the track for my next visit with them on fuel. They spool great, I love them!

So the stocker is the first turbo, then the second?

Do you have to add a mech wastegate to the stocker?

Yeah, isn't the goal to have a smaller quick spooling turbo feed a larger turbo?

So you get stock like spooling with better high end boost and air right?

Commonly: The top turbo/smaller turbo is referred to as the secondary turbo. The bottom /larger turbo is referred to as the primary turbo.

Air is pulled through the air cleaner, into the large primary turbo, compressed, sent up a "cold pipe" to the inlet of the top/smaller/secondary turbo, compressed some more, then sent out/down another cold pipe to the CAC=Charge Air Cooler also incorrectly known as an intercooler, then fed into the engine through the air horn into the intake manifold where it is distributed into each cylinder as it passed through two intake valves per cylinder.

Commonly: Exhaust is fed from the exhaust manifold directly into the smaller/top/secondary turbo, then out the turbine housing into a "hot pipe" 3-4" in size and into the larger/lower/primary turbo's turbine housing inlet.

Thanks... so since the top turbo gets the exhaust first and the air second it really can compress it.

Makes me want towing twins, even on a mostly stock truck
