I appreciate your appology and I was wondering what I had done to offend you and I was going to contact you today to see what this was all about. Speaking for myself and NOT D. Wiggs, as he is more than capable of speaking for himself,... I was confused by Luken's comment about stock trucks having more luck with SMARTY when certainly I and D. Wiggs don't have anywhere close to stock trucks,... so that's why I was toying with D. Wiggs in my comment.

The more I think about Luken's comment then the more it solidifies my thoughts however on SMARTY. He (Luken) is right in a respect and the reason he is right is that SMARTY doesn't play well where others have played previously. It's ability to be and stay transparent to the dealer is also what causes problems, in that "I" feel it will capture residue left in the ECM from other downloaders, and then it becomes corrupted because of what was left there. Frankly other downloaders do not seem to be that picky so that leaves us all with a choice. It's like living with one woman or messing around . And SMARTY doesn't like it when you mess around.

This is MY opinion and based on MY personal testing and what I know to be TRUE on MY truck.

So it seems to be a gerneral consensus that if your trucks ecm is clean, as in no other downloaders, if you go smarty first and stay with the smarty you SHOULD be ok?

I am either doin BD or smarty but havent decided yet. Which ever one i got with I am stayin with, that is for sure.

Diesel was cool with everything, big dogs don't sweat the little things. Now as far as our better halves, I'm not even going to knock on that door, let alone go in!
