Scary larry is custom tune built by bud kunz for a 05 auto and the tune made its way out to the public when it wasnt suppose too. It has serious amounts of timing and duration and works well with the use of a pressure box. Studs are needed with aftermarket turbo and definetly a transmission with fuel supporting mods as well. Crazy larry 2.4.1 has the same exact fueling curve as the old scary larry 2.2.7 but the tsb's are way different and you cant get as much out of the trucks that require this newer tsb. A few members on here along with myself have the old 2.2.7 file but its a play at your own risk type deal and most won't release it too anyone without a few supporting mods.

Turbo and manifold 62mm or bigger to keep things cool, head studs will be needed seeing how this program makes alot of cylinder pressures and will blow head gasket easily. Exhaust system, Cold air intake, aftermarket lift pump such as a glacier, fass, or airdog, etc. And if injectors are modified a
cp3 pump. A built transmission either FE or dual disc, or fully built auto.

That kind of sums it all up. This is a very true statement. I would definitely make sure you have the tranny done and atleast head studs, but if you run it hard enough you will definitely damage something.

That's just what I was told by both PDI guys and a bullydog tech. Maybe I"m wrong, regardless it's stilll crazzy fast. If you don't have fuel mods you'll throw a low pressure light/code fast

I've been running scarry larry stacked with mp-8 for about 4 months. I have stock turbo, fuel system, cp3, etc. 4WD 20 psi boosted launches and never had any issues(knock on wood)

I willing to bet if you stick a rail pressure gauge on that truck you will find out that you are draining the rail fast and not getting half the power scarry larry is capable of. and stock turbo can not push nearly enough air to keep egts under control but hey it is your motor
