Yeah your right about the rail pressure. I will be installing a Glacier fuel system soon. I'm trying to save enough $$ for MPI twins.

ummmm glacier will do nothing to help rail pressure. glacier sell walbro lift pumps pumping fuel from the tank to the INJECTION PUMP to raise rail pressure you need a DIY cp3 mod, aftermarket modded cp3 or twin cp3

Would you see better performance out of the cp3 by the diy mod, or the arson cp3 upgrade kit?

I had great luck with the Scarry Larry with only a 62-14, 90hp DDP's, and a trans.. At 8,040 pounds it ran 13.04 at 103 (8.2 at 82 eighth) with no lockup switch.. I raced it almost every thursday at the strip, and pulled heavy loads from FL to KY with it.. I had that setup for a little under 30,000 miles.. I'm sure rail pressure wasn't good, but it ran very well for what it was.. It was a good running simple combo..

Is the arson kit about the equivalent of a stage 1 cp3, or flowing about 30% better than stock?

Like I stated above 2.4.1 has the same exact fueling curve fuel mapping the the 2.2.7 scary larry file does however the tsb's available back then stricktly for 05 automatics were not as restrictive as the tsb's that buddy has to accomidate for in the current revisions. This is another reason why the 2.2.7 would only work the best on 05 auto's due to the tsb's used in the program were strictly for a 05 auto but will still work on older and later cr motors. 2.2.7 is the wildest bullydog version out for 05 Auto trucks any other year or tranny 2.4.1 is the best aside from the PDI tunes floating around a few of us have.
