CR header
I've seen a stainless header on a truck with twins. Looked sweet! I'm not sure it was the best thing for power, though. The important thing is to not worry about equal length like on a non-turbo gasser, but to try to keep the pipes as short as possible to minimize heat loss before the turbo. I believe this is more important than getting max flow. I think it would be hard to do better than a ported ATS manifold with Jet-Hot or a similar heat barrier coating.
I think it would have to have a decent balance on flow and length as well as a limited length like mentioned.
We have one on the drawing board but its on hold til we determine the correct turbo [s] we want to use and with what power level of injectors and module.
One day it will be on WLD RYD.

where abouts ontario are you in? markham [north of toronto] here
MBRP just finished building the header on my truck!
I have attached a couple of photo's of the prototype, looks great. Can't wait to see the production piece. They are taking it to the dyno soon and hopefully posting some number on it in the next couple of weeks.

Sweet! That's what I was talking about - short pipes not matched lengths. Looks like the turbo is clocked like a 600, was that done to make more room for twins or so they could sell it as a bolt-on for the new trucks?
Very nice indeed. I would be very interested in seeing some test results from this bad boy. HP TQ and EGT's would be of some interest for sure. Wonder if it would make the torque curve a little more spiked, in gassers headers usually have a "tuned" length and tq peaks around a point instead of flattening out. Wonder if diesels do that? hmmmm
I definitely think there is some merit to the exhaust header , we changed over some of the old 855 Cummins from the old style exh. manifold to the new style exh. man. that looked like a header and had gains on the dyno. with nothing else changed.
