CP3 mod question.
When I cut my FCA I think I went too far. I tried to do it exactly like relentless did and polished it with 2000 grit sandpaper. If I have the truck set to stock, I have a real bad surging effect below 2000 rpm under light throttle. I would suggest do a little at a time. It is real easy to pull off and do a little more if you need to.
Your not going to gain nearly as mouch power from this as you think. With just the bullydog a small set of stixs would be okay. However with a programer and a decent size fueling module you will already be draining your rail and a modified cp3 not the diy cp3 will be needed to run stixs.

Yep injectors. The diy cp3 is a good easy mod that will allow you to pick up maybe an extra setting on a fueling module when using it with a programer such as the bullydog you are using. Not going to be a mod that will support a fueling module, programer and injectors. In this case a auxilary fuel pump (lift pump) will be needed and either and upgraded cp3 from companies such as industrial injection, or floor it or a dual cp3 setup from numerous different distributors.

When stacking you loose some power in transition say the programer is rated at 200rwhp and the module is say 100hp. You can expect 175 from programer and 80 or so from the programmer. When stacking you want your mods to complement each other say you have a programer doing timing/duration only then it theoretically should stack well with its counterpart a rail pressure box.
This will help to keep from adding too much of something and cut down the risk of damaging parts and usually works for better e/ts and hp #s.
