One goes hand in hand with the other. The FCA will flow more, but it starts at the rotors pulling it in. If the rotors can't get you more to the fca, then it really doesn't matter.

Slight improvements with the fca only. Done professionally on a truck that actually needs the extra fuel, the fca alone is worth 10-15hp, where as a good stage 1 pump is worth as much as 40-50hp - on a truck that needs it of course.

since i only recently got my rail gauge installed, i have finally been able to see what my r/p is maintaining at. sled pulled saturday, smarty wild on 8, quad beta on pol3, maintained 24,500 psi the entire time. will a completely stock pump keep up?

He didn't say a Floor It or II Stage 1. This is a DIY Stage 1.
