Country road playtime with my Bro....03 CR on BDSL

My buddy claim 3 times kill on his nephew 07 5.9 similar mods minus trany but Smarty sw#9 ....needed to see for myself

My Bro's mods 03 4x4 short box CR: Billet trany 89% TC, ****** intake, 410's, 4in SS exhaust no cat, 315 YOKO's, boost elbow and Bully Dog on Scary Larry Out look monitor shows best times 13.92

At first we did several runs unloaded BDSL & programing my Smarty on his rig SW#7 then #9. his first notice was he could not lite the rubber on a boost launch on either setting but easily accomplished on BDSL
One good note SW#7 equaled his best ET's......maybe lucky I guess
after seeing what Scary did on his truck (mucho bottom end) my feathers started to grow with a phobia on KFC

I buck'd up & we lined up pls note I'm running 37's, 373 gears and Smarty 411
the first run my tires cold too much rubber spin he took me easily

Second run minimal boost launch for me & less tire spin it worked!
we hole shot equally but I squeaked ahead & @ the end of the 1/4 I had 2 lengths on him

Kinda disappointed thou one thing I have on him is my HTT that cost me 2grand ............that's one grand per length
Bottom line his new program SL rocks on his ride

Didn't know Scarry Larry worked at all on an 03-04, is this something new? The main consensus was that a BullyDog didn't do so well on these trucks but the Larry programs I understand was made truly for the 05.

It works, but not well.(Really it felt the same as crazy larry.) My TNT runs circles around it. But I also thought 4.11 was a joke on my truck.

why dont you get the orig. beta 4.2? It seems to be the best on 03' 04' from what I've seen on here and playing with all the programs on BossHoggs truck. #7 by the way on the beta 4.2 is for sure stronger than #9 on Boss's truck

Yep #9 just puts out too much timing, 7 is the sweet spot.

I could load up 4.2 but don't like the idea of running around with pressure all the time. I've got the pressure at stock with the TNT and when I need a little extra I flip on the pressure box. It sure is tempting though

your truck is a long box lifted and rolling the 37's and you took him by 2 truck lengths in his short bed with 410's and 315 tires? And he was running the SL program vs. the 4.11 on your smarty. I am going to lable that a whoop'n. You out ran him with the standard programing vs. his race program and you have a serious weight disadvantage. Nice work.

More of a rolling mass disadvantage, those 37's must take alot to get going. I went from stock to 35's and the difference was huge.
